Overview

Taita Salt Lick Sanctuary, home to the world-famous Salt Lick Lodge, is a private reserve nestled between the two Tsavo parks. The sanctuary’s natural salt lick draws a near-constant procession of elephants, buffalo and antelope. Salt Lick Lodge’s circular stilted suites overlook the waterhole, allowing guests to watch wildlife from their balconies day and night — an experience unlike any other in Kenya.
