Bora Bora Wildlife Park is a privately run conservation park tucked into the coastal forest, a short drive inland from Diani Beach. Opened as a family attraction and community-conservation project, it has become one of the most popular things to do on Kenya’s South Coast, especially for travelers with children, cruise passengers on a Mombasa stopover, and Diani guests looking for an easy, low-cost wildlife experience without a long safari drive. The park is home to a growing collection of East African wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, ostriches, various antelope species, tortoises, monkeys, warthogs, guinea fowl, and a small selection of birds of prey. Most animals roam freely across landscaped bush and lawn, so guests walk (rather than drive) through the enclosures accompanied by a resident guide.
